Financial Para-Planner/Branch Office Manager


Snelling seeks an experienced and licensed Financial Para-Planner/Branch Office Administrator.

This position encompasses operations, client service, financial planning and back office/trading support.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can provide full back-office support while seeking professional growth through collaboration with the planning team and continual skills development. This is a small firm and casual, but professional financial planning and wealth coaching firm.

Financial Para-Planner/Branch Office Administrator Qualifications:

Assist investment manager with portfolio allocations, models and rebalancing

  • Manage projects to improve the client experience and automate processes for increased efficiency
  • Collaborate with the financial planning/wealth coaching team to create financial plans and attend client review meetings
  • Handle daily resolution of custodial alerts, daily downloads, transfers, client requests, and other account administration
  • Quarterly report preparation
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and the ability to gather and organize client data
  • Self- motivated and can work autonomously, as well as on a team, while supporting the firm’s leadership and vision
  • Positive attitude and high ethical standards
  • Understanding of compliance and the SEC regulatory environment is a plus
  • Adaptability as the role and business processes will change to keep pace with the evolving landscape of wealth management

Financial Para-Planner/Branch Office Administrator Qualifications:

  • Financial Planning: 2 years (preferred)
  • Financial Services Support: 3 years (required)
  • Experience working for a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) business is desired
  • Education: Bachelor’s (required)
  • License: NASD series 7, 63 and 66 (all required), CFP (a plus), insurance
