Shop Technician


Snelling is seeking a skilled Service Tehcnician for a valued client in Longmont.  If you are a team player motivated to learn and grow in the field of mechanics, this is the opportunity for you! 

Schedule:  M-F, 7:30-5:00, Sat. rotating schedule 8-Noon

Salary:  $18-22/hour, depending upon experience

Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with customers on service requests
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
  • Accurately process department paperwork, including service work orders, invoices, and warranty claims
  • Ensure all shop facilities, department tools, equipment, and service vehicles are in good, safe working condition
  • Prioritize projects and schedule team appropriately during peak seasons
  • Perform diagnostic skills and plan effective and efficient machinery repairs
  • Effectively access and utilize technology available in diagnosing and repairing machinery
  • Order parts and ensure accurate inventory levels

Service Technician Requirements:

  • Must have a passion for the job
  • Must bring positivity to the team
  • 5 years' experience is desired (not required)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Diesel Engine Technology Certifications/Education preferred
  • Previous experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural or large equipment desired
