Test Engineering Support Technician

CONTRACT POSITION, with a chance to become permanent

Schedule: Flexible

Pay:  $28-36/hour

Test Engineering Support Technician Responsibilities:

  • Manual assembly and maintenance of test fixtures and equipment
  • Data collection, entry, compilation, and report preparation
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of procedures

Test Engineering Technician Qualifications: 

  • Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and/or 2-3 years of related technical work experience
  • Soldering and wiring skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Knowledge of electronic components & functionality
  • Ability to understand schematic diagrams
  • Ability to use standard test equipment such as multimeter and oscilloscope
  • Experience with software development tools and languages
  • Aptitude for mechanical and electro-mechanical design concepts
  • Experience with digital and analog circuit analysis
  • Experience with schematic design and PCB layout tools
  • Familiarity with TestStand and LabVIEW is desired, but not required
  • Color identification is a requirement of this role
