Class A CDL with Hazmat


Snelling Staffing has an immediate opening for a Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat Endorsement for an established client in Loveland. Are you looking for a great employer and lots of opportunity for growth? Then this position may be for you!

Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, some overtime available, rare overnights


CDL Class A Driver Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver loads in a safe and timely manner
  • Interact with customers
  • Correctly follow all company policies and procedures and obey all traffic laws
  • Safely operate a variety of equipment
  • Follow all current DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations and comply with mandatory drug and alcohol standards
  • Ensure that the company vehicle is safe and reliable to operate and is serviced on a regular basis; ensure repair needs are brought to the attention of the service manager
  • Maintain and abide by legal, electronic logs, and maintain a paper log if necessary
  • Attend required driver training as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

CDL Class A Driver Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with hazmat endorsement (REQUIRED)
  • Knowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance regulations
  • Must be able to operate trucks with manual and automatic transmissions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to pass drug screen and random drug testing

Working Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, push & pull up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the course of the shift
  • Ability to walk, squat, stoop, kneel and bend repeatedly at each delivery location
  • Ability to enter and exit truck cab multiple times throughout the day
  • Ability to climb on top of and inspect top of trailer
  • Ability to regularly pass a DOT physical
